I have had Yuana look after my terrier on several occasions and my dog always comes home happy. We visited Barnston Island Boarding last summer for the first time and were beyond excited to have a safe, caring and wonderful environment for our little dogs to stay at while we were away. We adopted our little min pin Joey from DMRS and soon found out that there was a boarding kennel available as well.
The staff from the Barnston Island Boarding are experts caring for dogs and we were excited to have a place where we knew both our dogs would be well taken care of. We have tried other kennels and found that the dogs are often caged for most of the day and walking is extra!
At the Barnston Island Boarding, there is a lot of backyard space for the dogs to play and interact freely and our little ones really enjoy that. The small and large dogs are kept separate and it is great to have our dogs socializing with others as well.
We had our dogs Joey and Digger spend two weeks last summer at Barnston Island Boarding and we couldn’t get them to leave when we picked them up! They had a lot of fun and I could see that they were comfortable and happy. It is really important to us that our dogs be happy where they are staying, especially if it is for a week at a time. They love Yuana, who is wonderful with them both, and I never have to worry at all while we are away.
I would highly recommend Barnston Island Boarding to anyone looking for a friendly, caring and safe place to board their dogs. Short and long term boarding are available and we take advantage of both whenever
we can.

Barnston Island Boarding is simply the best! Yuana is caring, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. There is no other place that I would consider sending my boys to. My young Pit Cross Sivah and my elderly Maltese JoJo are always in the best of care while they are at Barnston and I never have to worry knowing that they have acres of space to run and play in and quiet space when they need to get away from the other dogs.

Thank you so much for looking after our furry children, Charlie and Joey, while we were on holiday. We were dreading putting them into a kennel and were delighted to discover that you had started Barnston Island Boarding. It was wonderful having the peace of mind that our dogs were happy and safe, while playing with the other dogs. Thank you again for taking such great care of them, they were happy and tired when we picked them up and had obviously had a wonderful time. Charlie actually moped around for the day after, as I think he was missing all the play time. Joey can be very sensitive when we leave him but I believe once he settled in (thanks to you Yuana) he did great. Neither of them were stressed when we picked them up as they have been at other kennels.
